Aivaras will soon be a graduate from the Kaunas University of Technology in Software Engineering where his final year project is developing an application that reads a mathematical equation from a digital photo and automatically loads it into a smartphone and solves it for you. Genius!
Aivaras has also worked on Kake Make – the most popular game for small children in Lithuania.
Alan leads our development teams, keeping us ahead of the pack with the latest new features. He has dog years’ of experience taking world class R&D teams from concept to product. Prior to joining YellowDog he led Hewlett-Packard Laboratories’ Advanced Development organisation and Container research teams.
Alan is a father to 3 amazing, energetic, young boys. At times they have extra commitments like sports days, school plays, and inset days. He works around these commitments with flexible working to make sure he gets to everything, whether its taming YellowDog or the future generation!
He loves getting out in to the countryside and off the leash on bikes and in boats.
Andrius likes nothing more than fiddling around in YellowDog’s backend. He’s written all our algorithms for cloud management and automated operations. He’s in his final year of his Applied Mathematics and Computer Science Degree at the Kaunas University of Technology.
Music, jogging and reading are his hobbies outside work and study. The impressive thing is he does it all at once.

Ellie is currently in her final year studying Economics at the University of Bristol. She joined YellowDog in September 2018 as a Sales and Marketing Intern and works in our Bristol office one day a week.
Whether travelling around South East Asia in the summer or abseiling down the side of Fusion Tower in Bristol - Ellie is always on the hunt for new and exciting challenges.
During breaks from university, Ellie is often at home in London. She can be found playing with her two dogs Tyson and Rocky, or meeting friends and family. Being a quarter Italian, she has a love of good food. Exploring and discovering the newest restaurants around London is always a pleasure for her.
Gareth hounds the YellowDog kennel, spearheading the vision to build a world where people do more, create more, discover more; unleashed from limited computing power.
Following an MEng in Information Systems Engineering from the University of Durham, Gareth cut his canines working in software and telecoms at companies including Orange, Experian QAS, FREEDOM4 and Arieso, where he was part of the Management Team that completed the successful sale of the company to JDSU in March 2013 for $85m.
One day he had a brilliant idea for using spare mobile capacity which, following a chat with someone in the animation department at the University of the West of England, gave birth to what is now YellowDog. When not coming up with brilliant ideas, he is a dad, a keen cyclist, an ardent reader, a Samaritans Listening Volunteer. He also likes ale and talking to anyone (usually together).
You can email Gareth on email@example.com or phone +44 (0) 330 223 2499.
Iris is one of our Render Wranglers, and is a 2014 alumni of DAVE-school in Orlando, Florida in Digital Animation and Visual Effects.
Since childhood, Iris has always been curious and creative in equal measures, developing from keeping her out of trouble, to a hobby, and now finally to a profession. Iris sees Animating and Modelling as a natural extension of her creativity, and whilst Render Wrangling was not something she expected to be doing, she loves the meeting of her creative and technical skills every day. Solving issues and making scenes work is incredibly rewarding, and she loves getting to use her full 3D generalist skillset.
To help Iris manage a healthy balance between her work and young family, she works one day a week from home. Being at home allows her to fill up on cuddles in her break to then perform even better when she is in the office.
In her spare time, Iris likes to bake and partake in some gaming.

In a quiet moment, he can be found enjoying a small glass of whiskey whilst nursing his baby son off to sleep.
You can email Jack on firstname.lastname@example.org or phone +44 (0) 330 223 2499.
