Allyson is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of ICAEW, who trained with PKF where she gained experience in audit, accountancy services, company secretarial services and taxation for a variety of clients from small businesses to multi-national PLCs.
After leaving private practice in 1997, Allyson held senior finance and board level positions working in private equity backed and highly geared companies providing strategic financial leadership in both growth and turnaround environments. Her roles included financial restructuring and reorganisation, implementing business system improvements, financial reporting, governance and compliance.
More recently, Allyson has run her own finance consultancy business, advising and supporting businesses with their financial management and reporting, financial planning and restructuring, and business growth.
Allyson has a BSc Management Science degree from Swansea University, incorporating one year’s study at the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta, Canada.
