About the role

A YellowDog Product Manager acts as the confluence between the YellowDog vision, market and customer needs, and the talented YellowDog team to deliver our vision. The position reports directly to the COO, working closely with the Engineering Team deliver the YellowDog value proposition via the Product Roadmap. The prospective Product Manager will also interact extensively with our CEO, CSO and CTO.

The role requires excellent communication skills, lateral thinking, prioritisation and the ability to forge relationships with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external) and manage their needs and priorities in the best way that meets YellowDog’s vision and goals.

Overall responsibilities

  • Management of Product Roadmap, feature and maintenance backlogs for the YellowDog Platform.
  • Interaction with Customer Success and Sales/Account teams to elicit, review and action customer feedback.
  • Market and competitive analyses.
  • Writing and authoring both blogs and white papers.
  • Producing and owning technical marketing content for YellowDog website and other communications channels for both internal and external consumption.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Have experience (4-5 years) in a similar role with a SaaS provider.
  • Preferably have experience with Workload Management solutions operating in cloud and/or on-premise.
  • Preferably have experience product managing / product ownership of SaaS Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Keep our customers’ and our data and information security front of mind.
  • Put the customer first and can empathise with their needs.
  • Be comfortable wearing different hats and juggling competing priorities.
  • Be a self-starter and quick learner.
  • Have excellent communication and experience handling multiple stakeholders.
  • Be highly organised and adaptable to change.
  • Be motivated and approachable with positive attitude.
  • Remain calm under-pressure and prioritise.
  • Understand your own capabilities and know when to ask for help.
  • Be a creative problem solver & thinker.

Salary and benefits

  • £70,000 per annum.

  • We are a hybrid environment with discretionary two or three days remote working per week but also a lovely central Bristol office space.
