YellowDog’s reigning monarch, Gareth Williams visited Buckingham Palace today as a proud alumni of Pitch@Palace.

Founded in 2014 by the Duke of York, Pitch@Palace recognises the role that entrepreneurship is playing in the future of the UK.

Gareth is an active alumni member after winning the opportunity to be selected in 2015 to pitch YellowDog at St James’ palace to HRH The Duke of York and a throne room full of luminaries, and has attended St James’ Palace, Windsor Castle, and Buckingham Palace in consecutive years as part of his commitment to the alumni community.

The afternoon event at Buckingham Palace saw Dan Ariely, a respected leader in behavioural economics, speak to Pitch Alumni.

Gareth commented, “It has been brilliant to see the dynamism of the alumni community since 2015. Pitch@Palace was a great stepping stone for YellowDog when we were in our early stages.”

The impact of Pitch@Palace has been huge for YellowDog, Gareth continued. “It introduced us to potential customers and partners but more importantly, it helped us secure some angel funding.

I look forward to meeting more entrepreneurs and businesses through the palace alumni network for years to come.”
