In this video tutorial, Joe shows you how to simulate the destruction of an oil drum using Cinema 4D and its plugin Turbulence FD.

Warning: only oil drums created on Cinema 4D are to be blown up, do not try this at home!

  • Make a cloth simulation to ‘tear’ the barrel
  • Create a Turbulence FD emitter
  • Change temperature key frames so the flames dissipate
